Rachel's yoga classes and teachings are inspired by her connection to nature — fluid, creative, powerful, and often described as a flowing dance of postures. She loves to see her students free themselves of rigidity, accept and enjoy their bodies, and trust their inner wisdom.
When Rachel found yoga more than a decade ago, she began to wake up from the ways she was killing her body, spirit, and this earth. As she healed from disordered eating, her body returned to its natural, ideal size. As she freed herself from addictions, she found her true purpose — empowering people to tap into their most vibrant selves as a way to transform our troubled planet.
Rachel is trained in Shiva Rea's Prana Vinyasa Yoga and has deepened her intuitive approach to yoga by studying with Angela Farmer and Victor van Kooten. She's also a practicing occupational therapist. In her free time, Rachel enjoys cozying up with her son and husband, hiking the enchanted Southwest, creating delicious vegetarian food, writing, reading, and honoring her inner introvert.
